About Marquee Pass

We're rebuilding ticketing because the people who use it shouldn't hate it.

Marquee Pass is a small team building a transparent ticket platform for live music, sports, and theater. We started this because we got tired of paying 28% in fees and watching our friends get scammed on resale.

Our story

Started in a frustrating checkout flow.

Marquee Pass started the way a lot of consumer products do: a founder got fed up with an existing experience. In our case, the experience was clicking 'buy' on a $50 concert ticket, watching the price climb to $64 at checkout, and feeling like the platform had played us.

We talked to dozens of fans, venue operators, and resellers. The story was always the same: nobody likes the current system. Fans hate fees. Venues hate exclusivity contracts. Resellers hate the trust problem. The incumbent platforms got fat and stopped trying.

We're building the version of ticketing we wish existed. Honest pricing. Open inventory. A resale marketplace that works like a marketplace, not a tax. Founding venue partners that get real economics. That's the whole story. We're not disrupting an industry — we're fixing one.

What we believe

Three principles.

Transparency wins.

Hidden fees are a tax on trust. Every transaction on Marquee Pass shows the real total from the first click. We make less margin per transaction. We earn it back in volume and loyalty.

Independent matters.

Most of live music doesn't happen at Live Nation venues. Independent rooms, regional festivals, and minor league sports run on margins thinner than ours. We're building for them, not for the incumbents.

Fair beats fast.

We could grow faster by cutting corners on seller verification, fee disclosure, or partner economics. We're choosing not to. The companies that win long-term are the ones that built trust early.
