This Privacy Policy describes how Marquee Pass collects, uses, and protects your information. We collect the minimum necessary to operate the platform, we don't sell your data, and we give you real control over your account. A version reviewed by privacy counsel is in progress and will replace this document before public launch.
1. What we collect.
Account information (name, email, phone), payment information (handled by our payment processor), transaction history, event preferences, and basic device/usage data for analytics and fraud prevention.
2. Why we collect it.
To operate the platform, process transactions, prevent fraud, communicate with you, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.
3. What we don't do.
We don't sell your data to third parties. We don't share buyer information with sellers beyond what's necessary for a transaction. We don't use your data to train AI models. We don't fingerprint your device for advertising.
4. Who we share with.
Payment processors (to handle transactions), identity verification providers (for high-volume sellers), partner marketplaces (only the ticket information needed to fulfill an order), and law enforcement when legally required.
5. How long we keep it.
Account information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for legal and dispute reasons. Transaction records are kept for seven years to comply with tax and consumer-protection law.
6. Your rights.
You can access, correct, or delete your data by contacting privacy@marqueepass.com. California residents have additional rights under CCPA. EU residents have rights under GDPR if applicable. We honor all valid requests within 30 days.
7. Security.
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We require two-factor authentication for sellers. We never store full payment card numbers — that's handled by our payment processor.
